Autism and Undressing: Brantley's Battle of Bare versus Wear

Just when we thought Brantley was lost in the fabric labyrinth of his Cuddle Box, he revealed his grand finale: a triumphant hand emerging from the layers of fabric to proudly showcase his shorts and underwear.

My cheeky boy had shed his clothes, leaving his bare butt to revel in the silky embrace of his Lycra cuddle box—a scenario that his brother was bound to disapprove of.

Disrobing has been a lifelong saga for Brantley just as it is many autistic individuals. His birthday suit seems to be his favorite suit, much to our amusement and occasional exasperation.

Interestingly, during toilet training, his habit of undressing noticeably decreased—it seemed that his years of taking off clothes were his way of showing his dislike of diapers, or so we thought.

We thought wrong.

In recent weeks, Brantley's bare-butt antics have staged a bold comeback. The struggle to keep him clothed has become an epic battle of wills.

A battle of wills where Brantley, with his unwavering dedication to the birthday suit, faces off against my ironclad determination to keep him clothed. Who will emerge victorious in this epic battle of bare versus wear? #autismfamily #autismlife #autismparents
